Our house. |

|
Here's the view from our bedroom window. |
We've lived in the same house ever since we were married. It's right on the northern edge of Exeter, so we can get out to the countryside really easily. However, we're only a short distance from the city centre, so we really do have the best of all worlds!

Exeter Cathedral. |
Most of the present Cathedral was built between 1107 and 1350. Exeter also has its own Guildhall, which is the oldest municipal building still in use in England. The University of Exeter is located on the north side of the city. Exeter is called "The Gateway to the West" as from here the beautiful scenery of Dartmoor and Exmoor is in easy reach.Alan is a "local", who has lived in Exeter all his life, but Jenny comes from Bournemouth in Dorset, about 80 miles east along the south coast, and only moved to Exeter to study at the University. We were married in June 1990. You can click here to see some of our wedding photos!
Alan works as a Systems Analyst, and Jenny has a job-share at Exeter City Council, which means she still has time to pursue her hobbies and try and get to grips with the computer! Jenny especially enjoys gardening - we have a small garden at the front of the house, and a larger one at the back - while Alan is a keen photographer. Click here to see the results of their work.
